Festival of Light Summer Solstice Celebration

When: Friday, June 20th, 6-9pm Meet at the Peace Pole at 6pm for the opening ceremony.

Where: Unity of Wimberley (inside and outside!) This will be mostly outdoors. A map and schedule will be provided for activities to join in.

What to Expect: Explore our property as you join in “Sharing Circles” for spoken word, art, singing, drumming, and a craft area for the kids. Hold an intention while you walk the labyrinth. While each area will have a leader to kick things off, this is not about performing. How can you involve others in the circle?

What to Bring: Bring a picnic along with your instruments, poems, song lyrics to share, drums, food from your garden, art to display or any creative gift with your picnic dinner and beverages. Enjoy your picnic at any time or place that feels right for you.

Who: This is for our community but feel free to bring a friend. Our hope is that The Festival of Light will be become an annual event shared with Wimberley at large!
